Hey, I want you to know that it rained here last night! So I know what it looks like! And it's been cold enough so that you can see your breath! All the same, my furnace hasn't worked for two years and I don't see any reason to fix it. It's not like you can see your breath inside la casa freddy.

Yup, confirming about a foot at about 2700 feet. Oh joy! <heavy sarcasm>

Also confirming that Emigrant Gap and Dutch Flat are indeed towns somewhere up here, but nobody here knows for sure precisely or even generally where they are. California has entirely too many towns that nobody can pin down precisely or even generally.

I hope you are flying to the Shrine of the GWD. From what I've heard the road conditions up this way aren't all that jolly. Sorry I can't be more precise or exact. Besides, the road conditions up this way are always subject to sudden change.

Anyway, have fun with your GWD. And do watch out for the black ice and killer trees.
