.."Sony and Micron Electronics: My matchmaking motive here is a solid PC with sex appeal. Let's face it, looks matter (click for more) and PC manufacturers still have lots to learn. Sony knows scads about how to design and market consumer products. Combine Sony's design appeal with Micron's solid engineering and you've got a winner."

Sorry to hear Manny T's bad experience with IR. I have been buying and selling this company for 1 1/2 years. I have made money through out the bad times as well. Never has this company been so strong fundamentally as it is now.

Still riding MUEI!

"Earnings report: 15Dec98; Consensus Est: .11; Whisper Number: .13; Last Qtr: .08"

SF,

MUEI currently has a P/E of 32 based on consensus est for 8/99 of $0.64. This compares to GTY P/E of 22 for 12/99 est of $2.78 and DELL P/E of 45 for 01/00 est of $1.46. IMO, if MUEI doesn't beat the whisper number then the price is going to drop steeply. I think they will probably beat it, but it is the first quarter that I'm concerned with. They simply are not as competitively priced as DELL. They are better than GTW, however, compare the two valuations. Good luck to you.
