Chris, How ALan and my father feel about the Church is a fact. You may have good intentions and find many ways to excuse the lack of love and kindness but it does have an effect on people. It was not me that said my father did not go to Church because of the hypocrisy and coldness it was my dying father that said it and I assume he will share those feelings with the Lord soon. In the New Covenant we are free to love all people freely and openly the seperation of Holiness was to bring the Messiah. What seperates us from the world now is the love of Jesus, that is true Holiness. Beating people with your understanding of the truth is usually ineffective. The Lord used GRACE with truth. I had to perservere to find a comfortable and sincere congregation to fellowship with but it was on a road of pain. Try sitting by someone and hear them saying all kinds of sick comments about Jews because they did not see you. Is this the House of God? I do thank you for your prayers for him and hope you can get past all this to rejoice with me in our compassionate and powerful Lord that is only interested in saving as many as will hear. Nancy

Chris, I just read this post. Can you say that anyone would feel these words are motivated by concern or love? That is the point you claim to be closer to the Lord than Alan and others so you have more accountability to show love with LONG SUFFERING and TEARS. Telling someone they are disobedient to a verse that is claimed to be in an age of grace because they have been hurt is an uncircumcised heart. Honestly ALan is the most humble man I have ever known I think you may not understand humility by the way you write. <<"God I don't need them I only need you".>> Are you saying there is something wrong with this? This is humility CHris not CHurch worship. The fact that you can talk to Alan and I the way you have knowing we are in a deep state of grief shows you have no understanding of the love of God but have hardened your heart. Nancy

Chris; What you say here is true, but the problem is you are using it only to justify not having to worship with the saints. So it's deception. I've heard it a million times "God I don't need them I only need you". That is the most unreal statement I think I have ever seen posted........ God I don't need them THE SAINTS I guess that includes yourself:-) Than you go on to say that God is not EVERYTHING by making this statement God I don't need them I only need you" Yes Chris my personal relationship is more important than your puffed up self righteous attitude towards others....... You will find I only defend against people like Emile, Sam Emile being the Judge and Sam calling the Bible (Gods Word) a lie........... Thats were I draw the line Darrin, Mark and many others I hold high respect for you fall within the realm of Emile even though you side step around it......... All one has to do is read your post's and the truth comes out very well with regards to yourself........ You are not interested in God nor the history that transpired with regards to who and what he really is with regards to his word in the Old Testament your focus is the New Testament........ God does not change people do hopefully you will change and embrace who God is and his love for ALL humanity....... Alan
