I have some friends doing just that, using First Alert with MBT and JPR. They make all their trades at the close, and play the next day's gaps.

They use a separate computer for the First Alert system, presumably because it taxes their trading boxes less that way, though I haven't been told that. It may just be because they have an extra box sitting around.<g>
