If the truths are self evident then they were self evident and obvious before Christianity came about. How does it logically follow that they are Christian truths. I know the Christians are claiming them to be theirs, but this doesn't make it so.

The fact is that the goal of the Bible and religion is to enslave minds and manipulate people, which is the opposite of what the founding fathers wanted. The words in our Constitution were chosen to avoid the religious tyranny seen in Europe.
