...I assume you are talking about the latest quarter vs. the same quarter a year ago. You need to take in account divestitures over the last year. CheckFree has sold off many non-core products over the last year. I believe the real growth rate for the last quarter (vs. the same quarter last year) was between 24 - 28 percent.

I do agree with you that CheckFree should be growing 40% a year. It will be interesting to see if the company can resume a 40% growth rate once transitions, conversions and wide spread market adoption of EBPP takes place.

Just one last note. CheckFree for the most part is not a software company. CheckFree is a financial services company.
