{{{{{Tri}}}}} My Dear Friend.....

Have missed you, where you been???

It was hard work, and your question is under investigation, we want to give them an award!!! LOL

In all seriousness, I have always had a question about the title "Fire Marshal", why not Fire Inspector, or Arson Investigator which more aptly fits our job discription. I got my answer and am going to put out a bit of trivia for all of my friends that own business's out there.

This is taken directly from the Uniform Fire Code which has been accepted and adopted by all of the states.

Code: 103.2.1.2

Fire Prevention bureau personnel and police. The chief and members of the fire prevention bureau shall have the powers of a police officer in performing their duties under this code.

The Fire Marshal shall have the powers of arrest.

Big responsibility and one that I hope I never have to exercise but the authority is there if I need it. So, don't argue to much when your local Fire Marshal shows up, there is always room to talk until you close them off.

Gee kind of like the few here that have closed themselves off!!!

Have a great day!!!
