Joe's article contains this<About 43 percent of households have personal computers; 52 percent of them have
Internet access; and 38 percent of those have purchased
something over the Net, a new study by the Retail and Consumer Products group at
Ernst & Youngshows.> Now 52% of 43% is what?About 22%,and 38% of
22% is what? About 8.5%--so per Ernst and Young, purchases over the
internet has occurred in 8.5% of US households--well,at least there is
extreme amount of room for growth--but obviously we need to get this figure to improve dramatically--25% I think would be great.
Yes,Joe,per IFLY as I read, regards the plan for how the web-site
will work, when up and running,it appears it would be an excellent
improvement,if it runs well---my question to all, does anyone know who
is building the site--this is the kind of job PSIX would take on I do believe---also,has the expenditure and the financing of the site been discussed---but I say this,Internet stocks being what they are if IFLY
makes the big public announcement that there site is up and running
and ready for business I would,if then holding, sell at the spike--and then buy back later.
I am now thinking of taking a 1/4 of my normal position in IFLY soon.
In terms of Internet stocks,ELBO excites me in that they have 500
stores in which to promote their site--PLUS the % of their customers
will have a quite significantly higher propensity to buy over the web.
BIGE has announced they will be selling their stores to commit totally to the Net--this is a curious decision. The key thing with BIGE
is how many products will they have in which they have exclusive rights to sell---this exclusiveness factor, the strong point here.
Good Luck,Max O yes,am still tantalized with ITVU---they announced
that they have 2 patents on the verge of becoming official--I
have to yet find out how valuable will those patents be--ITVU really
is not persay an internet stock, but actually a high tech stock---
