If I'm not mistaken, tax selling will end on Dec 28th. Must allow 3-days to close. That leaves 15 trading days to "get through."

At this stage NO investment banker activity is going to develop before the end of the year.

It is too late in the year for anything new to develop. All the Street will see in the last 2/3rds of the month is a few deals that are nearing completion being wrapped up.

After the holidays, in January, the investment bankers will start anew.
