Allen: Since November 24th, the "main" thread has had all of 19 messages posted on it. By contrast, this thread has had over 300 messages posted on it. For the vast majority of posters (and lurkers), this has become the main Iomega thread during the past four months, when the number of posts on this thread has been almost four times as many posts as the previous main thread. Furthermore, I gave some thought to either changing the thread's name and/or the introductory paragraph. But when I went through the Iomega archives, I discovered that there were over 30 different threads that on one time or another pertained to Iomega. That is precisely the kind of instability that does the long term holder of Iomega harm. This thread approaches its 5000th post. It will achieve that distinction in a quicker time period than all but two other threads--one of which is the "Slick Boink Monica" thread (Obviously, this statistic is somewhat skewed because there were far fewer SI members in the beginning when most of the most popular threads were started). Nevertheless, this is a successful thread, where the quality exchange of information on Iomega and its superior products has once again achieved the prominence that it deserves. Superior posts on Iomega such as yours are truly appreciated. I hope that it remains that way for the foreseeable future. Yours Truly Jock
