Elwood: I have to protect my little flock from the marauding Blue Jays - a bunch of immigrant Canadians who have come over here on Air Canada and are muscling natives from their territories, stealing their food and creating mayhem like a pack of brawling hockey players. Almost all the sparrows have been driven away. The Long Tail Tits are tiny little things with yellow and red and blue colourings and quite rare. Today there's a coat of frost everywhere and the poor little blighters looked cold.
