Hey guys, profit is profit.......makes no difference whether it is a sub 1000 or sub 10,000.

I really don't think Dell is dumb enough to waste their time and effort on selling products that don't make it worth their time and effort. Sounds like they are just targeting a different market segment.

Obviously, they are going after anybody and everybody who sells "inexpensive" machines. (Hate to use the word cheap)

p.s. still building a nice FIRM base in the 60's.

Circumstances change. No lying, just facts. As pointed out by Chuzz, this IS NOT an effort to attract first time buyers, just passing along costs gains according to Moore's law.
