Re: what similarities between Shiva and Fore?

Here are some similarities between Shiva and Fore that come to my mind. All, my HOO.

First some qualifications:

1. Fore is NO Shiva. Fore has products and revenue to speak of. Shiva, well ... you know.

2. Fore's still in the game as an independent concern, while Shiva won't be for much longer.

3. I actually do like Fore. My original point was to challenge the assertion that Fore's nearly a guaranteed double from here. Some are practically guaranteeing $30-40 soon.

4. My comments go primarily to Fore as an investment and secondarily to Fore as a company. The two are inseparably connected, of course.

Similarities:

1. Both networkers

2. Both yesterday's prom queen, and today's fallen angel.

Both continually beat the "turnaround" drums. Shiva never made it happen. The jury is still out with Fore.

3. Both have hard-core followers talking about how severely "undervalued" they are, and repeat the old "at these low levels" a buyout is imminent chant. This literally went on for years with Shiva, and has been happening for quite a while with Fore.

4. Both are perceived to lack sufficient strength to remain independent in the long run. Shiva is being scooped up by INTC even as we speak.

Re: I take offense @ anyone comparing my Fore to any Co.

Not sure if you're serious here or not, but clearly you shouldn't be offended when comparisons are made to Fore. How else can you know how Fore stacks up as a company and as an investment?

All IMHOO,

John Dodson
