I am always amused to read the superficial analysis of novice investors about the trading activity of certain brokerage firms. You guys make it sound that all trading is principal trading. Have you ever heard of a client order? Have you ever heard of the competitive nature of the mutual fund industry? Do you think the fund managers who participated in the company's recent financing bought the stock because they think it has a compelling valuation and growth prospects?

The small investors end up being burnt not by the big guys but by their own inability or unwillingness to understand the capital markets and their greed (falling in love with a concept stock). Why don't you all knock me now like you are knocking Taurus' analyst? Do you think that is going to make the stock go up? Or maybe you can stop being emotional about your investment in BII for a second and try to understand what is really going on.

There is brokerage houses and then there are brokers. One thing I know is brokers in the same house like to compete, kind of a macho thing. Some go long, some go short, some day trade . He who is right more often(makes more money) gets the promotions and gets to manage the big portfolios, hence the mixed signals.Case in point Lions Gate run by the former head of Yorkton.
