I just finished watching a two hour long program on The Learning Channel about the future of the automobile. I don't know if this is a repeat but the program examined many of the topics discussed on this thread. The program devoted its final 10 minutes to fuel cells and discussed the work being done by Benz, Ballard and Northeastern University. The conclusion of this analysis was that the fuel cell engine and hydrogen fuel might comprise the dominant mode of transportation in the latter half of the next century.

Actually Sid, I have not yet received my H&FC Letter. I expect it shortly though. Since you say you are not a subscriber, you wouldn't know that subscribers receive it in the first 7-10 days of the month, unless you live in Conn. where ERC is located, where you would get it sooner, as you appear to have. I was simply providing a link to an article in a reputable newsletter that seems to shed a more favourable light than your doom and gloom scenario. You seem to think that ERC's glue is not a show-stopper for them but a gas sensor will be for BLD? How do you make the leap from "heat management" and "gas sensor" issues to a fatal flaw in the fuel cell? With respect to who you are, I DON'T CARE. What bothers me is that you have posted lots of fairly repetitive material here and on Yahoo, maintaining that you were a disinterested third party with no axe to grind (and you in fact maintained you would quit posting when you were short) and all of the sudden I see you, in the guise of CSMulstrum (where did that handle COME from by the way?) saying that you were posting something from Sid on the SI thread? Either you are schizophrenic (possible) or you are deceptive (highly likely IMHO). Which is it? In either case I'm not sure reasonable people will want to deal with you. My best guess is that you are a big time short on BLD and a long time holder of ERC just ready to dump when it finally, if ever, pops up. I have noted that your postings increase dramatically when BLD moves up in price. Coincidence? I think not. I also would hazard a guess that one might find ERC somewhere on your business card. In short Sid ;-), you are the reason I will take everything I read over the internet with one HUGE grain of salt. Regards
