Yes we got the first snow (2 inches) in ages here. I am in Mountain Home which is deceiving. We are actually a Desert Plateau between 2 mountain ranges so most of the snow is up there and we stay dry most of the winter. In 2 years it has only snowed here 3 times and none of it lasted more than 2 days despite the fact I can be on a ski slope in 30 minutes by cruising up the road to Soldier Mtn. owned by Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. ( I keep hanging out there but haven't bumped into her yet <g>).

I read a post staing MUEI releases earnings on the 15th of this month. If so, MU should report at the same time as they have historically reported on the same date. I may buy a third on MU later this week since Don sees weakness in the market in that time frame but only if the volume drops off. That rise Friday was on huge volume.

I didn't have time to do my usual research this weekend but COF and KO gave me possible buy signals. Not sure if I want to jump on banks right now though. I thought I read that one of our regulars here saw weakness in the bank index. GTW was showing signs of a technical bounce but it was still a couple days away and with MUEI reporting, it should move on how their earnings are perceived.

I may continue to just tread water until the haze clears a bit more.

PS - Chavez won the Venezuela election. Time to watch South America again... and Asia .. And Russia and ....

Good Luck,

Lee
