Repost/ Edit of Billykid earlier post. What a brilliant idea!!!
-----------------
CALL YOUR BROKERAGE FIRM AND DEMAND YOUR SHARE
CERTIFICATES OR HAVE THEM PUT ON "SAFE HOLD"
THIS WILL PREVENT SHORT SELLERS FROM BORROWING YOUR SHARE
CERTS AND USING THEM AGAINST YOU.

As new investors start buying in, this SHORTAGE OF SHARE CERTS WILL FORCE SHORTS
TO COVER.

Please call your brokerage firm and inquire about this tactic that is commonly used by some wise
investors but rarely known about by many. This type of situation was used in IOMEGA recently and
the stock dramatically increased in a very short time.
You just have to transfer your WAVO shares to your cash acct in order to put them on "SAFE
HOLD"

REPOST THIS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK SO ALL WAVOers WILL KNOW
THEY CAN DO THIS.
SOMEBODY POST THIS ON SILICON INVESTOR PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEBODY POST THIS ON MOTLEY FOOL OR ANY OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS!!!

I have e-mailed Jennifer Schreier, of IR at Wavephore, to appraise her of the efforts being made to curtail the short sellers from weakening upward price movements in their stock price. I am not certain but i believe their is no legal barrier to prevent the company from contacting stockholders and "explaining" that their shares can be kept out of the reach of short sellers, while making no recommendation for taking this course of action. This all depends on how motivated the company is to protect its market capitalization and all kinds of legalities that are best left to Wavephores General Counsel.

The distinguishing piece of WAVX --- what you neglect to mention --- is that it's hardware based,,, a chip on the motherboard,,, or snuck into a PC, trojan horse-style, through any peripheral (TV tuner, sound card, etc.)

However, the brilliant piece of WAVX is its three-legged stool business model: "a penny for you [content maker], a penny for me [Wave Systems] and and penny for YOU who place my chip inside people's machines" [Michael Dell, Gateway, Compaq, et. al.,,, or, in this case, David Deeds <g>].

Boxmakers may do fair to midland on their boxes --- but for the promise of a cent or two royalty per transaction (forever),,, expect the Wave chip to be fruitful & multiply.

The 'demonstration/simulation' pointed to in your post is so far off the note Wave should strike it (along with the "Great Stuff" moniker) from its server!
