Soros, no I don't think I am always right. I am only trying to point out that speculating on concept stocks is not the way to get rich. It is a fact. You guys can buy NRT at the top of the promotion all you want. I would rather not do it myself as it is not good for my portfolio.

Of course I own small-cap companies. But I don't buy them when the ducks are quawking. That is when I sell them. I sell them, I guess, to people like the people who write on this thread. While I move on to something else, you guys average down at a third of what I sold my stock at and praise the long-term fundamentals. There is always room in a portfolio for play money, but it should be a very small percentage of the overall portfolio. Speculating takes a lot of discipline. When speculating there is no room for emotions.

Soros, at the end on the day I was right on NRT and you were wrong. Wouldn't you prefer to have taken you profit or broken even instead of having to hope for long-term appreciation as you are now doing? Wouldn't you like not having all that speculative money tied-up in a losing investment at this point? Of course you would.

As far as my style is concerned, well so be it. That is the way I am. It's a free country, people can like me or dislike me. When it come to investments and money to me the only thing that matter is $$$$$, not style. It is a jungle out there guys.

Soros, good post.

I, for one, have been long on a company called CGI for many, many years (nope not promoting this one as the run has already happened).

This company, CGI, was against ALL odds. An IT consulting company making 1% gross margin. Good management though. Smart. They made all the right connections. Kept on their business plan. Sold part of their company to BCE (Bell Canada and others). Made their play at the right time in the market.

Funny thing is....now they are the largest in Canada, 6th largest in North America, international offices, etc. etc. etc.

Skip to present....small cap when big time. Stock was under $1 in 1994, now worth over $200 (pre-splits).

Moral of the story - The miracle story does happen. When you invest in risky stocks like this, even with the best management and a good business plan, 9 times out of 10 it probably won't payoff. But, if you pick the right one, BOOOOM!!!!

I AGREE WITH YOU SOROS, THIS ONE IS WORTH THE RISK.

AND FOR EVERYONE ELSE OUT THERE, AS MR. FORTHRIGHT HAS TRIED TO STATE, IN SUCH A DICK-HEAD KIND OF WAY, THERE IS RISK IN INVESTING IN BII. MORE RISK THAN MOST.

YOU CHOOSE, DON'T LET A DICK-HEAD DO IT FOR YOU!
