This HiFD external release looks like a total flop. I thought Sony would do better than this. A floopy drive needed to install it is highly laughable. Sony's HiFD flop(py) will only increase IOM's credibility in WallSt. i expected Sony to take away some market share from IMN. Hmn... looks like IOM has to do that all alone ;-)

Now if IOM can give good earnings for next 2 Qtrs and if Clik! does better than expectations, then WallSt will finally give the valuation IOM deserves. Iomega will become a great company in my books ONLY if IOM breaks the all time high of 27 1/2 set in May 96. We will see ...

Gottfried, same exper. here....none in stock...it looks like they ran the add early to 1. see demand. 2. preplanned ad. 3. expect to get product "soon". 4. name recog....INGRAM shows the media, but none in stock and none on order with no dates.....means they are several weeks off. I suspect that they will ship direct to the circuit city types to get name out.....BUT you can't sell what you don't have....something interesting though was the NEC ad for the pc ($1399) with a ls120 and no 3.5 drive.....
