Well Bill, now how can my entire value system be materialistic huh? Because if that were true, wouldnt I be a republican? Im not willing to endure what I see as an encroachment on my personal rights which is why I support the dems even though they advocate higher taxes in general. Well, higher taxes wouldnt be so bad if the things that needed to get fixed got fixed, like the schools. Extending the pain of social security and medicare for the next 20 years is not my idea of fixing anything. My guess is, most Dems here, on an investment board, are so because they value ideals over money. So ha ha ha Mr. anti-establishment. I know you probably cant respond to this right away because you are busy volunteering your time at your local PBS affiliate. Michelle
