Even with the hits to estimates caused by Amazons accelerated expansion spending, Mary Meeker has held a belief that Amazon would be profitable in 2000.

Considering how surprisingly strong e-commerce is this holiday season (plus Amazon's record of beating published estimates) I'm thinking that next year's December quarter just may be the first one that goes into the black.

I cannot locate a bullish statement with numbers and fundamentals to back them up. William picks a quarter and states he believes they will be profitable. No reason given. Random I suppose.
