I agree with you that Boots and Coots are the best in the business at what they do which is fight burning wells.

But Boots and Coots never said anything about how big this reservoir is as you seem to be implying. They DID say that it's a big fire and I believe them. The principals in the drilling have also refused comment on the find except to say that it's substantial but that any estimates on the size are speculation. That's what THEY say, john, and I believe them too.

The people that are offering opinions on how huge it is are non-participants. Just spectators.

That's interesting since Aiden Walsh (CEO of the drilling company) has said for the record that they don't know and that all estimates are speculation. I'll point you to that quote if you want.

Never having seen a blowout before I personally couldn't put this one into any meaningful perspective. All I'd see would be a really big fire with the possibility of a wonderfully large supply of natural gas feeding it.
