Iomega sells those removable storage 'Zip drives' you must have seen or heard. SyQuest used to own the business a few years ago before Iomega moved in and cut prices radically, expanding the market significantly. Many people, especially the once incredibly influential Motley Fool brothers, predicted that the Zip drive would replace the floppy drive.
SyQuest recently declared bankruptcy. Iomega started at a couple of dollars per share, ran up to 55 (post split) and is now haging out around 8 bucks.
