Mark, speaking of shorts, where are they?? A few small timers over at Yahoo, plus Go202's replacement from Matsushita. Have the smart one's covered?

VLNC is fascinating for its potential extreme movement -- down as well as up. I made my investment decision a long time ago, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't ask relevant questions about the highly complex and potentially negative financing arrangements made by this company. Due diligence is an ongoing process.

Due diligence for an individual investor is also achieved primarily by reading public documents, not by listening to the assurances of biased internet posters whose main factual references are their own unsubstantiated posts.

The recent stock movement is fantastic, but the company has NOT, in fact, "said all the right things" nor has it "put the lines together at the right times." For example, Lev stated in one of last year's conference calls that production from line 1 would commence in the 1st Q of 1998. It is obvious that the coming 1/27/99 deadline is not something to brush off lightly. And the real excitement of this stock -- like the roulette wheel -- is that money can multiply, or evaporate, in an instant.
