"Speaking before his Annual National Business Conference, ROGER BABSON observed, "Sooner or later a crash is coming, and it may be terrific....Factories will shut down, men will be thrown out of work, the vicious circle will get in full swing and the result will be a serious depression".

Sep 5, 1929.

Roger, I asked veterans of 1929 crash to respond, honestly. You changed your name, but not enough.

Especially I like this:
<<...the SEC...told McDonald's its $190 million charge for kitchen refurbishment was bogus.
Updating a kitchen, regulators argued, seems like the normal cost of doing business for a

I have heard 2 very interesting rumors in the last few hours.
Bill Fleckenstein , of CNBC fame , is rumored to be recommending
Valence Technology ( VLNC ) and Oracle ( ORCL ) to his big clients
this coming week. Also, this is also a very interesting piece on
Yahoo Finance News.
