Doc,

I was wondering how the banks would react to Oracle knowing how they reacted to Gates and MSFT. Then in reading what Larry Ellison told many at a recent conference, he tryed to ease banks and others fears that he would never attempt to take the Gates approach and not to be worried about their customers.

If this is true about Citi and Oracle, I would think that Citi is just another customer of ORCL-CKFR and not in bed with on a financial
basis. The negative implications to other banks that was talked about when MSFDC took in CITI would be prevalent in the scenario that your friend spoke of. Banks do not want CITI to gain from them or their info.

Could you please clarify as to the ORCL-CITI relationship.

Good Night, A.H.
