The rumors posted on the Yahoo/SI threads suggest that a merger/takeover of some sort if about to take place. I do not know if these rumors have any truth to them whatsoever, but they do keep popping up. The stock has had a nice run up from 9 in October. It seems to kick up to 19-21, then pullback to 16-17, then kick back up again. I would interpret this as accumulation.

The question: what could this takeover/merger be? I've been trying to figure out something that makes sense without a lot of luck.

I've been playing SPLN for about 18 months now. It is a great trader because it does swing nicely. The options are also a nice way to make money.
