Hi Frank:

Point well taken. I was aware of the fact that most
CLECS still have a resale component, but nevertheless CLECs
which are facilities based should be evaluated very differently
from those which offer DSL on resold lines.

PS: I guess we also differ somewhat on the legitimacy of
unbundling of copper and cable. You view it as a private
property issue. However, unregulated monopolies are never
acceptable in a free economy. Since I dislike regulation,
the only acceptable alternative is partial divestiture of
copper loops (for the RBOCs) and cable assets for cable
companies.
