ORACLE CORP said late Friday that it is working with EDS CORP to support EDS's Internet billing and payment service. The EDS Interactive Billing Service can present bills to consumer and business customers, who can then pay them electronically. In connection with the partnership, Oracle said it is working with payment settlement and financial outsourcing firms to promote its technology standard, as well as to help the firms collect customer information in order for them to tailor their marketing activities. Oracle's technologies can deliver bills through the biller's branded Web site, or route bills to consolidators or service providers, the company said.
