In the Q3 call Nettles said specifically that the guidance was designed to err on the conservative. Therefore, unless the business has completely died I expect a slight surprise.

Regarding analyst's estimates dropping each of the last three weeks I only am hoping that they are trying to set CIEN up for upside surprise. However, if you look at the whisper number it does not jive with estimates being taken down to -.04 last week.

Only few days to go and we will see where we stand.

John, I did not use the term" disappoint", rather I expect " earning better be good".

I am afraid earning is going to be" mediocre" or so so and subject to intepretation by the street. Then things may get rough for all holders and there is going to be "a big shakeout" . Let's hope I am wrong "big time" :) Good luck.Regards
