True, but there are different cases.

AMD, in Q4 1997, could sell every K6 that they could make. However,
they had yield problems and missed estimates because the couldn't
produce enough chips. This is a bad thing.

TDFX, current quarter, appears to have demand which is exceeding
their business projections. They are selling more Banshee chips
than they expected. This is a good thing. It would be more of
a good thing if they had ordered more chips. Maybe their Biz guys
need a whack in the head, but this situation may help them beat
estimates. This is a good thing, if it happens. :)
