I just started putting money back (I never took it all out) into this sector. I was checking the weather forecast for Ohio a few minutes ago and it is definitely going to get chillier. Why Ohio, you ask? Well, AOL provides a local forecast. Of course, I live 1000 miles or so from Ohio, but AOL doesn't seem to know that.

In any event, when the temperature turns down I think that the stocks in this sector will turn up. Dramatically so? Maybe, if Wall Street falls in love with the sector. Keep this in mind: the semiconductor equipment sector moved back into Wall Street's good graces well before semiconductor business turned around. And some Wall Street analysts are already singing a more bullish tune about at least some of the stocks in this sector.

My pick for this morning, EOG. Folks might want to check it out. There's been a heap of insider buying and the stock looks very cheap on a P/CF basis. And at least one analyst recently issued a bullish report on the company.
