HJ, I don't trust any of the marketing "studies" at this point in time. Internut users are a strange breed. On one hand they are idiots that have a challenge in tying their shoes - a justification for AOL's subscriber rise - and on the other hand they are computer savvy, propeller heads that, among other things, are so cheap that they scour the planet to save a nickel.

And I would start to question my beliefs if Business Week told me the world was round. -g-

A repeat customer causes more in net $ loss for Amazon than does a new, first-time customer. The fact that repeat business is growing, is, for amzn, ironically, an ominous sign.
