RE: Nasdaq

Now that chart looks like it has sprinted the 100 yard
dash without catching much of a breath. But it is not
too much over the 200 day moving average, which is par
for a typical tech rally of the last few years.

I'm a little worried about the sustainability of this rally
from a technical standpoint. But I am no chartist.

From a fundamental standpoint I love the place tech is.
1. Microsoft breaking out, the lawsuit losing more merit each day.
2. Lucent, Intel, Compaq all rallying, and none preannouncing.
3. Semis and Drives even looking good on great demand.
4. Europe and China and U.S. lowering rates.

But are we at that place where everything looks so good it's the
sell point, just as when things look the worst it's a buy point?

In my speculation account, I'm holding many calls of Microsoft,
Lucent, and Nokia. Betting they can run 20 more points each.

What do you think of the market's prospects of a further runup
in tech from here?
