Hi Dave, I'm an inveterate night prowler. Et Tu Brutus?

Do you think you'll have a chance at getting back to the Altai in '99? I would guess there would need to be another financing to fund the exploration when the price of gold is a little more compatible. As there will probably be far less companies left standing after all this is over, do you think it will make it a little easier to obtain the exploration dollars? Or.. do you intend to wait until the Bumbat is settled, as originally planned, and use the funds from that?

Cheers

Shirley

Dave, I know that I'am in trouble when I get answers and end up more confused.

Maybe Phil could give his optimistic explaination, and then BearCatBob could give his pessimistic explaination.

Hopefully if I add these two together, I get a neutral and correct understanding.

<<<MGR has 60 days to say yes or no to matching the terms and conditions
of offer. Transaction may proceed after that if we do not respond.>>>

I thought the yes or no was the right of first refusal, which I thought
was an automatic YES so that this MAC Attack would end. And as for MGR
to have the option to match or better the terms, I'am really confused here
since I thought we MGR have no money to match anothers offer. Boy, this
kind of legal stuff leaves me in the dust. Theoretical math, peice of cake,
but this real world stuff, so hard to understand.

<<< MGR can only move so fast on the 60 day schedule to decide. >>>

MGR has been standing still so long, so rested, so much rested, that MGR has
forgotten how to move ??? ( just kidding Dave, I know you have been working
long and hard to get MGR unstuck from the MAC Mud ).

But, I'am still clueless as to what to "decide" is all about.

<<< the timing of the funding issue comes to play.
MAC did not make it clear to us in their letter what day funds
would be advanced (date of transaction). >>>

Is this related to the 60 days ? Seems not if it can be January 2003.

<<< Third, MAC has their own time-frame.
They have costs and loan payments to meet. >>>

Does this mean MAC is in money trouble elsewhere ?

Man, stuff like this would not happen if Women ruled the world.

Help !
