mary, one almost must make light of such a tragic situation. however, this is representative of selfish desires overwhelming the good people can do. this is not good. in fact, it is very bad. just ask the suffering children. of course, not all people are bad - though all people do make poor decisions from time to time. there is enough bad that we should all stay on our toes, though, and not rely on other people's good nature. this tends to lead to a lot of disappointment.
