Political party affiliation has little or nothing to do with values.

Perhaps you'd like to take this up with JBL, Bill.

Isn't it obvious to you that the decision to belong to a political party, or a religious group, should be based on your personal values, and not on how favorable it will be to your career? (http://www.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/s-22539/reply-16900)

Oh sheesh. You cant be serious. For 8 years now the republicans have positioned themselves as the "values" party, with a subtext that they somehow know better than everybody else how everyone should be living their lives. Now if you say to me, a liberal that political party affiliation has nothing to do with values, I believe you. But say that to your average republican.

Do you think Dan Quayle would say that political party affiliation has little or nothing to do with values?
