Have you checked lately? Up over 1 1/2, trading above 118. Cutting capital spending sounds like an increase in earnings to me.

On the contrary, If the market thought Intel could drive growth by re-using most of it's capital equipment and thus reducing capital expenditures the stock should explode. They have been saying this for several months now. Although, not being a master of the obvious, I did not translate that into a 40% cut in capital spending. Heck, what are they gonna do with all that extra cash?
