I use to work for a company that sold software along with hardware. That company had the superior product for about five years, but the customer did not know how good the product was until they were about to change vendors for additional capabilities. The customer's old product already had those capabilities, but it was too damn difficult to figure out how to utilize the software. Over time and with turnover the customers forgot about those capabilities. Many customers were lost before the company figured out that it needed to hired somebody to make the software user friendly. While the company was making its superior software user friendly, the competition had caught-up and in some cases surpassed the company. Four and 1/2 years ago that was a seven year old $30 million dollar company that should have been a $100 million company. Today they can barely pay salaries. I agree that the POST web page is poor. However, they make a good point about the importance of ease of use.
