Cramer is worried. His account of that interview differs starkly from the truth. It was not about explaining that the stock could not be shorted - sure he mentioned that as an aside - it was about his bombastic statement that he - pointing to his chest - would do everything he could when the CEO was interviewed in the next segment - to dampen down enthusiasm for the stock and for other stocks. While talking about that stock he referred to "Fraud-o-Net". He had decided all this before he interviewed the CEO. Actually, the interview, itself, was conducted by Kernan and was very mild and the company was given a good oportunity to correct what they claimed had been previous mirepresentations by CNBC.
