Datek--What is your problem

In the last week of October I opened up a ROTH IRA and I submitted the account transfer form to transfer the stocks from my Datek IRA to my new Datek ROTH IRA. It STILL hasn't been transferred.

On 11/24 I received a letter from Deleware Charter stating the the original IRA account had been closed due to my request for transfer. But not only has the account not been closed, but all of the stocks are still sitting there. That was two weeks ago. How can an account have been closed two weeks ago, and still not be closed.

Everytime I email you I get the canned form letter stating that these transfers take 2-5 weeks. We're at 5 weeks now. What's the problem.
I thought opening this ROTH in October would have given me enough time to get it done by the end of the year. I guess I should have paid more attention to who I was dealing with and opened the thing in July. Them maybe it would have been completed in time.

This is really becoming a joke now.
