EOG looks to be an interesting play on Natural Gas, but why is the PE so high? Looking at the 3-5yr graph shows a company that never really caught on with investors, the Enron itself has been a street darling.

S&P has an accumulate on them. The S&P sheet shows that they keep their current ratio at 1.0. I've been using the current ratio and long term debt as measures of staying power during a protracted decline.

Depending on the field the company plays in, debt plays different roles, so this doesn't stand on it's own.

Something tells me there is more than meets the eye here.
