OT, very OT, X, I disagree, the so-called Golden Rule, which is a central tenet of most advanced cultures, is nothing more or less than simple human justice. (Justice in the legal system is a subcategory.)

Simple human justice requires that you not initiate force or fraud, e.g., don't take things that don't belong to you, don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, honor your obligations, etc.

Your own belief system may encourage you to attempt to remediate other's misery, a la Mother Theresa, but that's not justice, it is charity.

x, if you were dying of starvation right now, would care about an ounce of justice or an ounce of food?
