Market depth is the bids and asks on each side of the current bid and ask, including how much is at each level. It would best be illustrated through an example. If somebody could post one here that would be great.

You can only get market depth through certain companies who sell their services (real time quotes, market depth, java tickers, etc.) on the web.

Currently fell back to $3.45.

Now the question is.....is this a buying oppotunity on a dip, or sell while the price is still up $.30 for the day?
