Complete your Christmas crib with Monica and Bill NAPLES, Italy (Reuters) - Artisans in the southern Italian city of Naples have brought the centuries-old Christmas crib tradition bang up to date this year with figurines depicting President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. The former White House intern whose affair with the president has rarely been out of the news this year, was shown wearing a strappy, dark dress and holding a banana. Clinton was smiling, his arm raised in greeting. Marco Ferrigno, whose workshop is one of dozens lining the tiny cobbled street of San Gregorio Armeno in the heart of the old city, said he had got the idea from American tourists. ''They're not really a part of the religious aspect of Christmas but I always try to add the notable characters from the year that has just passed, it's supposed to be ironic.'' Ferrigno told Reuters Television. Ferrigno, whose family has been selling cribs since 1836, has a little fun every year with novelty figurines based on political personalities. But one shopper said he found them tasteless. ''The Naples crib figures are sacred,'' Paolo Russo said. ''It's better not to buy something disrespectful like this.''
