I want to thank P&F for giving me the discipline to stay with a winner longer than I normally would. I own ATML, INTC and TXN and would have taken profits long ago. Although I am an investor and not a trader, I am keeping a close eye on the Semis because of the Bull Confirmed 72 and will be ready to exit or hedge if a change in status occurs.

Question related to News vs P&F

Today I took profits today on EDS. The reason is that over the pass two months they have hit a high of 42+. The first time was when they were added to the SP500, the second (today) is because an incorrect news report came out from Merrill Lynch putting them on their top stocks list (it was EDS's competitor CSC not EDS).

The question is, did I do the right thing even though the chart looks good (except for the RS O) because of their reaction to those 2 events?
