The reason I think it will be sooner then later is because if Ingenico waits too long then current low valuation on CMIV is going to disappear. 1) Next couple of qtrs. will look a lot better then last couple of qtrs. 2) NCR news is pretty good for product distribution 3) Sooner or later you will hear of other deals in the works etc. At this price, it is trading less then 1 time revenue and going forward revenue will go up so you do not expect the price to stay here and if Ingenico wants to take over CMIV completely, they will have to offer a premium of some sort and last but not the least, don't forget insiders own quite a bit of CMIV so I am sure they'd want to sell only if the price is right. All of it suggests if Ingenico is serious, it is in their interest to make a move sooner then later.
