Look who is slamming!

What a bunch of bull-slinging!

"The technology appears to be photography" - where do you get that? A. You just made it up.

"There is clearly no way here to detect fake fingers." Wrong - how can you post such junk? The delSecur device has been evaluated by independent authorities, which you know but fail to recognize - they have concluded that the device provides very high reading accuracy.

"The best competitive template footprint is around 100 bytes. This one could be 2000 bytes, for all we know." Why don't you know how to read? The delSecur device uses 120 bytes. You don't know much do you? So why post stuf that you contrive rather than read what is already known about the device? Afraid your bloated Identix bubble will get pricked?

"The 82 European patents are not issued." These are not "european patents" you can't even get that much right. They have been granted the patents under the EC agreement and have filed to register them in a few European countries so far. Patents must be registered in each country separately. It is very common to register the patents when markets develop in those regions. Major US corporations have tons of patents that they never bother to register in many foreign markets. Even in cases where their product is manufactured in Asia, patents are often not filed in those countries because the markets that need protection are the end user markets here in the states or in Europe or Japan & Taiwan, etc. They may never register the patents in Tailand or Chile.

delSecur is not working with the US department of defense as far as I know. So what? They are a small company with a product that is targeted toward growth markets. Maybe they will end up acquiring Identix in a few years ; -)
