Doc - thanks for checking up on MLIN. I did buy near the close, got filled at 5 3/4. This one has officially broken its technical resistence at 5 1/2 and is behaving properly intraday. Therefore, it should not be too much of a stretch to expect a gap up tomorrow and clear the 6 1/8 level a few minutes after open. However, if it can't clear 6 1/8 after 30 minutes or so, a pullback will need to happen, then find a low, then a restage for another surge as long as the overall market is holding up.

The drillers are up nicely today, with the deepwater drillers showing the best strength, as one should expect in a technical bounce. I'm prepared to set a tight stop tomorrow but expect a gap up and a slight pullback before another day of continued strength. I would love to see how high they can go before reverting to their introvert selves but am afraid I won't stick around to see the action after next week. Will be gone oversea for 3 weeks.

LT - I'll find out personally how much black market demand there is for gold in Malaysia. Since you were so convinced back then, I will show the numbers - most unbias of course. Oh, and your La Nina finally arrives today after a year of waiting. <GG>
