TMSR--Ouststanding apprx.4Million!!ThrustMaster soars on release of
software

HILLSBORO, Ore., Dec. 7 (Reuters) - Shares of ThrustMaster
Inc. soared Monday following the release of its computer game software that enables up to four
people to simultaneously play games over the Internet without extra costs.

Following the announcement, ThrustMaster, which makes controllers used with personal computer
games, became one of the biggest percentage Nasdaq gainers, as its stock jumped 48 percent, or
$5.50, to $10.3125 during morning trading.

ThrustMaster's Talk n' Play software will be retailed starting January 1999 for about $29.95 and
will come bundled with 14 Internet games and a special headset microphone that will work with any
online game, it said in a statement.

As part of the product launch, during the month of December, ThrustMaster will allow users to
download a pre-release version of Talk n' Play at its website (http:/www.talknplay.com).
